Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure. Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy the Microneedling procedure introduces a series of fine needles to micro-injure the skin sufficiently enough to stimulate the natural production of new Collagen and Elastin. The resulting micro-channels allow for maximum penetration of active ingredients and nutrients to the deeper layers of the skin, helping to replenish and restore the cells needed for collagen production. The skin becomes thicker, plumper and more youthful, smoothing scars, visibly reducing stretch marks and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The result is beautiful, healthy glowing skin.

I recently had the Plasma Fibroblast treatment at The Beauty Care Clinic Culmore. I had been considering eyelid surgery before I heard about Plasma treatments. I’ve always hated my droopy eyelids and dark under eye bags so was delighted to hear of this less invasive alternative to having to undergo surgery.

After much research I found Orla Hughes and was even more pleased to find that she was also experienced in eye brow microblading, so I was able to get the whole eye enhancement package to complete my new “TEN YEAR YOUNGER” look.

I had Plasma Fibroblast, anti-ageing treatment carried out at The Beauty Care Clinic with Orla Hughes. The Fibroblast treatment uses a Plasma Pen to remove excess skin from the eyelid which causes hooding. I am AMAZED at the results!! Orla used a topical anesthetic cream which made the treatment very comfortable. The Beauty Care Clinic offers a very welcoming, professional and private service. The after-care support provided was excellent and very reassuring. I highly recommend this treatment.

I recently had a Plasma Treatment to remove the loose skin and soften the wrinkles around my eyes. I am amazed at the results. My eyes look more open and bright, just how they used to look years ago. I’ve been going to The Beauty Care Clinic  for years now and have had several treatments with Orla including Dermaplaning, Light Therapy, Eyebrow Microblading  and more recently Microneedling.
I completed my microneedling course of 4 treatments and the results were fantastic!  Microneedling is a natural anti ageing treatment.  I wanted to do something for my skin that was natural and improved the overall appearance.  I’m in my 40’s and for me seeing the signs of ageing really knocked my confidence. Microneedling exceeded all my expectations, my skin has more life to it, my make up looks much better and my forehead lines and crows feet have softened dramatically. After finishing my course I now only need to have one treatment every 4 months to maintain results, for me this is affordable and well worth it.

Orla had been looking after my skin for the past 10 years. I started with facials and then as the years went on I needed  some more anti ageing skincare. Recently I have become more self conscious about my problematic skin. Especially in the health and fitness industry I am in , I hated having to wear a full face of make up to feel confident going to work.

I attended The Beauty Care Clinic over 1 year ago where I had a thorough skin consultation with Orla Hughes.
I had a recurring inflammatory skin condition and desperately needed advice on a suitable treatment that would give me a result as I was tired of gimmick treatments/products that didn’t work for me.
Orla was very knowledgeable and put me at ease immediately. She discussed various treatment options but we agreed the treatment I needed most was the Dermalux Light Therapy. This sounded very promising, a natural,affordable treatment that promotes overall skin health with noticeable results in just a few weeks. I began treatments immediately.
I enjoyed attending the clinic for my sessions over the next 12 weeks, Orla is so relaxed and made me feel very comfortable, she talked me through the process step by step, explaining how the treatment works and the changes to expect in my skin.
